Information stored on your device
Your saved merchant searches and recent search terms are stored in your browser’s local storage. Selected product photos are stored in your browser’s IndexedDB. This information does not automatically transfer to another device and can be cleared below or through your browser settings.
Product photos
A photo selected through the camera control is stored and previewed locally in your browser. It is not uploaded to our servers. Automatic image recognition is not active.
Shared searches
A 48-hour sharing link contains only the current search words and an expiration time. It does not include your cart, search history, or selected photo.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We separate two kinds of storage. Essential storage keeps your cart, search history, and preferences working on this device. It is required for the site to function, it is stored locally rather than in a tracking cookie, and it is never used to follow you around the web.
Optional tracking cookies are used by affiliate networks and analytics tools to measure which store links are useful and to attribute qualifying purchases. These cookies are disabled by default and are only activated after you choose Accept all in the consent banner. Declining does not reduce your access to any part of the site.
The optional cookies we may set after consent include those placed by Skimlinks, our affiliate link network, which records that a store link was followed from this site so that a qualifying purchase can be credited. Analytics cookies record aggregated, non-identifying usage such as which pages are visited. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings control at the bottom of every page.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. When affiliate or analytics tracking is active, the disclosure of your visit to those partners can be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To exercise this right, choose Decline optional in the consent banner, or select Cookie settings at the bottom of any page and decline. Your choice is saved on your device and applies immediately; optional cookies already set are cleared. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal automatically — if your browser sends it, optional tracking stays off without any action from you.
Your other California rights
You may request to know what categories of personal information we have collected, request deletion of personal information we hold, and request correction of inaccurate information. Because this site currently does not offer accounts and stores your shopping activity only on your own device, most of this information never reaches us and can be cleared directly using the button above or through your browser settings.
Server and security records
Our hosting provider may process limited technical records needed to deliver and protect the site. We do not currently offer user accounts or collect payment details.
Merchant websites
When you open a merchant search, you leave MIRA. The merchant may use its own cookies, analytics, advertising, account, and payment systems under its own privacy policy. MIRA does not receive your payment-card details.
Affiliate measurement and disclosure
Our merchant links are direct, untracked links until affiliate tracking is activated with your consent. When active, eligible networks such as Skimlinks may use cookies or similar technology to attribute purchases or measure link performance. This never changes the price you pay at the merchant. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details. We will update this policy before activating any additional tracking.
Children and choices
This service is intended for adults shopping in the United States and is not directed to children under 13. Do not select photos containing sensitive personal information.
